Dan Pelletier and A Musing

It might normally seem odd that a finance guy would transform into a Tarot guru, but given the situation, it’s not that strange.

Dan Pelletier, one of the new co-hosts on Beyonds Worlds, author of The Process, and owner of the Tarot Garden, was one of the survivors of the September 11 attacks.

That morning, while training for a new job with Morgan Stanley on the 61st floor of the World Trade Center, he decided to go down for a cigarette.

It was a decision that saved his life, and of course, altered its course forever. Among other changes, Pelletier left finance and eventually took up Tarot full time.

I was lucky enough to see him at BATS last month. And though I bought too many decks from him, I had the good fortune to see his performance in a skit called A Musing.

With Rhonda Lund and Nancy Antenucci, he acted out a typical Tarot reading with him as reader, Lund as querent, and Antenucci as the psychic muse informing the consultation.

Like Pelletier himself, the play was funny, but inspirational as well.

Messages included reminders to ‘live like you’re dying,’ and that ‘you need a love affair with your life.’ There were questions like ‘when was the last time you danced with a stranger?’ and ‘what prime are you in now?’

Tarot readings often bring ideas like this to the surface, but within the context of Pelletier’s personal story they become even more powerful.

I mourn the incredible losses suffered on September 11th, 2001, but thank the universe for allowing hope to grow out of the darkness.

As the psychic muse in A Musing said ‘Love Doesn’t Die’. We should all try to remember that, and celebrate each moment as it arrives.

Queen of Disks

It looks like you may have set yourself up just right. You’ve created the space you’re in through determined effort and hard work.

Step by step you’ve manifested your own prosperity and this is a wonderful time to enjoy it. It hasn’t always be easy but the rewards are well worth it.

Be generous with your prosperity, and kind to those that haven’t quite done it yet. People might come to you for practical advice or help. Or maybe it will be you taking that step to approach a kindly soul who could help you.

Don’t hesitate either to help or to ask for help. We’re here for each other and create the most beautiful of worlds when we work together.
