This Kickstarter project is for a playing card deck rather than for Tarot, but Tarot or not, if you like reading cards with beautiful pictures on them, check out The Book of Knowing.
Ana Cortez and her late father CJ Freeman were the creators of the now out of print Oracle Playing Card Deck. Though the name describes what it is, it hardly describes how absolutely gorgeous the cards are.
What makes that deck so stunning is the artwork of CJ Freeman. And though Freeman passed in 2010, his work is very much alive.
Using the images from large oil paintings her father created over 35 years ago, Cortez would like to create another deck of 54 cards – The Book of Knowing.
The paintings have been in storage for years and it’s about time they meet the world.

The moon moves into Scorpio today and stays there until Saturday.
If you translate this transit into the Tarot, you could say that the High Priestess is dressed as Death. She’s in the midst of a great transformation.
The Moon in Scorpio, or High Priestess in Death’s clothing, suggests a time when feelings run deep. The ability to end relationships that don’t work, or release stagnant emotions is accentuated.
If there’s a situation in your life that’s nearing its completion, especially if it’s emotional or relationship-oriented, this might be a good time to let it go. At least explore it with emotional clarity.
This isn’t a time to be afraid, but rather a time to face your fears with equanimity and intelligence.
You’ve got what it takes. Don’t back down from the scary stuff.

#7 – The Chariot
Today you’ll likely see some movement. The Chariot is the card of change, the card that takes you places. Having finally determined the direction you’d like to go, now is the time to get cracking and go there.
Changing jobs, moving house or some sort of travel are the larger manifestations of the Chariot energy. Sometimes though, it might bring no more than a strong desire to redecorate your living room or go for a long drive.
However it plays out, try not to give up if the going gets a little tough. More often then not, just sticking it out and playing for real is all it takes to ensure victory. You’ve come this far already, why would you give up now?
