High Priestess in Star's Clothing
The Moon moves into Aquarius today and stays there until Monday.
Described in Tarot cards, this transit would be like the High Priestess is dressed as the Star. In other words, her robes are gone and she’s naked as the bird in the tree behind her.
The Moon in Aquarius, or High Priestess in the Star’s clothing, can sometimes be emotionally stressful. Hope may be in the air, but it’s a cautious hope.
Emotionally you feel like sharing, bubbling over with dreams for the future. But your mind keeps getting in the way, reminding you that dreams can sometimes be nightmares.
Try not to spend what could be a nice time double guessing yourself or listing off all the reasons things could go wrong. They might. But they probably won’t.
Be real, but not a wet blanket. Rather than smothering your dreams, direct them with intelligence.

It might seem like no one’s getting along these days. Petty fights are breaking out everywhere and tempers are on a hair trigger. You might be wondering if it’s worth the trouble to get your way. And that would be a good question.
It’s probably best today to stay out of the thick of controversy and personal rivalries. Passions will cool out soon enough, but the energies today might get you all beat up. Laugh off any insults that might be hurled your way, and try to keep yourself from throwing them back.
You all probably need nothing more than a good nap and something to eat. Get yourself some rest and join the mob again after you’ve had some lunch.

James Wells and Andrew McGregor have been putting together an amazing monthly series of podcasts about all sorts of fascinating Tarot topics.
And they’re free to download any time you want.
Both Wells and McGregor are Toronto Tarot readers and educators, and they’ve called their series Toronto Tarot Portal: a monthly podcast on all things tarot.
They started recording in November of last year and have been covering the big issues – love, sex, money, fate, destiny and magic.
Intelligent, amusing and highly informative, these podcasts are worth listening to whether you’re a Tarot reader or not.

Compassion, emotional strength and mature love are key energies today. The King of Cups understands well the joys and sacrifices involved in relationships of all kinds.
Concern yourself with how others are feeling, what they need for support and how you might help. Through concern for the needs of others you might unexpectedly fulfill your own.
And if you know you’re needing some assistance yourself but have been afraid to ask – get over it. Emotional generosity and support are there if you’re willing to let someone help. But they have to know you need the help before they can offer it.

Magician as Charioteer
Mercury moves into Cancer today, and stays there until July 2nd.
If we translate this transit into the Tarot, it would be like the Magician is wearing the clothes of the Charioteer. He’s hit the road in some pretty snazzy armour.
The Magician is really good at getting things started. He’s a man of ideas and focused attention.
His inspirational thinking can move one to greatness, and his ability to manifest his will is unparalleled.
The Magician communicates with brilliance and can spin your head with how fast he can talk. He can convince you of anything, whether he believes it or not.
The Chariot can move pretty fast itself. And it moves with determination, like one’s will in motion.
The Charioteer is a strategist and a warrior. With careful planning, he’s willing to take on any battle, confident that few others have his ability to fight to the end.
Perseverance is one of his strong points, and he has the capacity to help others find their own power to keep going.
The Magician is okay in this position. He’s comfortable on the road, and can hold a sceptre as easily as a wand.
Mercury in Cancer, or the Magician wearing the Charioteer’s clothing, is an excellent time to turn your ideas into action.
Inspiration abounds, as does the strength to follow through on your commitments.
Don’t give up if the going gets tough, or communication gets murky. Just recalibrate and try again.
Clearly let others know what it is you need from them, but don’t wait around if they can’t help you.
A determined focus and the intention to move forward will get you to where you need to go.
Charge forward with faith in victory. Success is calling.

High Priestess as the Devil
The Moon moves into Capricorn today and will stay there until Saturday.
If you were to describe this transit using the Tarot, you might say that the High Priestess is wearing the Devil’s clothing. The virginal goddess has gotten downright beastly.
The Moon in Capricorn, or High Priestess in the Devil’s clothing, is a period of potential internal conflict. The physical world might seem to draw you away from what you typically believe to be right.
You might feel driven or compelled by behaviours and attitudes that go against the grain of your morality. It could be liberating or disturbing, depending on your secrets.
Whatever’s going on though, don’t be too hard on yourself. Get obsessions out of your system, and learn what you can about yourself while you do so.
You should be ready to move on soon. There’s nothing wrong with a little focused physicality. Just don’t get stuck.

Last night was the longest lunar eclipse since the 1971, but the Sun’s out today …
You’ve made it! Enjoy! It feels great to be alive. After the long journey you’ve finally managed to get to the other side of the night.
There’s no need to be shy – express yourself and let everyone see you smile.
You have confidence now and boundaries no longer pen you in. Creativity carries you forward as if in a dream.
Focus your imagination and you can manifest what you will. Be open, free and alive.

Members of the Meridian, Mississippi City Council are back at the table talking about fortune-telling.
And the debate is going strong. On one side, Ward 5 councilman Bobby Smith is absolutely opposed to rescinding the present ban. He’s been against it from the start and remains firm.
On the other side, there’s council president Jesse Palmer who maintains that it’s not really up to the council to decide if psychic readers should be allowed in Meridian or not.
He feels that they firmly believe in what they do, and it’s not up to him to say whether they’re right or wrong.
He’s also concerned that the ban is illegal. And he’s likely correct given that Maryland’s high court ruled last year that bans on fortune-telling are unconstitutional.
Undecided on the issue is councilwoman Barbara Henson who says she just doesn’t know yet how she’s going to vote, though she’s uneasy about the whole thing.
If the ban is rescinded, psychic businesses will be limited to a newly designated B-4 district.
They will also have to be least 1,000 feet from any existing fortune-telling business, and 500 feet from any residence, child care facility, church, or school.
Council will make what they hope will be their final decision on June 21st.

What a wonderful day. You feel open and loving and willing to let the world know – at least if they ask. You might not feel like running out and embracing everyone you see, but there’s a sense of contentment and well-being that’s impossible to ignore.
This is an excellent time to enjoy and share. Be generous with your feelings. There’s really nothing to fear in letting people know you care.
Give as you can and laugh out loud as much as possible, even when you’re alone. It may have been some time since you’ve felt this good. Enjoy. You deserve it.
