Celebrate with enthusiasm! Today is for fun and sharing. Friends are at the forefront, especially the ladies in your life.
Good times, good friends, good drink – it could be a pretty excellent day. Don’t be afraid to be happy and remember to let people know how much you like them.
Take delight in music, poetry, painting – this is a time of inspiration and creativity. Social interaction with others will be invigorating and fruitful.
Let yourself get carried away by laughter and joy. Seek out the beautiful within yourself and those around you. You won’t be disappointed if you do.

The moon moves into Scorpio today and stays there until Friday.
If you translate this transit into the Tarot, you could say that the High Priestess is dressed as Death. She’s in the midst of a great transformation.
The Moon in Scorpio, or High Priestess in Death’s clothing, suggests a time when feelings run deep. The ability to end relationships that don’t work, or release stagnant emotions is accentuated.
If there’s a situation in your life that’s nearing its completion, especially if it’s emotional or relationship-oriented, this might be a good time to let it go. At least explore it with emotional clarity.
This isn’t a time to be afraid, but rather a time to face your fears with equanimity and intelligence.

The Sun moves into Virgo today and will be there until September 22nd.
If we look at this transit from a Tarot perspective, it would be like the Sun child is wearing the Hermit’s clothing. He’s tucked his curls into a cowl and is wandering in the snow.
The Sun in Virgo, or the Sun child dressed in the Hermit’s clothing is a time of enthusiastic order, and wisdom laid bare.
Enjoy learning, digging up the details, and brightening old ways of doing things with fresh insight.
Tie up loose strings, finish outstanding projects, and gather the information you’re going to need for the next stage of your journey.
In a phrase – get organized. There’s energy to do it now that can make the process a pleasure rather than a chore.
And don’t worry if you’re not moving as fast as you might normally. Take your time. We can miss so much when we hurry.

I’m leaving for San Francisco today on my way to this weekend’s Bay Area Tarot Symposium, aka BATS. I can hardly wait to get there!
In preparation for any trip, I usually like to pull a few cards.
Sometimes I’ll just pull one card asking something like, ‘what advice do you have for me on my voyage?” or ‘how can I make the most of this trip?’
But sometimes I like to do a full spread, asking for a little more detail then just general advice.

She was here less than a week ago, but I’m happy she’s back ….
Optimism and rejuvenation are the themes for the day. Active generosity and compassion come easy so don’t hold back. Give and you will receive.
Embrace the Universe’s capacity to provide you with what you need when you need it most. That’s what miracles are and the Star is the goddess of miracles.
If things have been tough lately, now’s a time when you can finally lean back and take a bit of a break. Surround yourself with as much beauty as you can. It will help to replenish your soul.
Art, music, and the glory of the night sky are all worthy subjects of meditation. Let them fill you with the inspiration you need for the next leg of your journey.

As of September 1st, you can no longer buy or sell services like magic spells, prayers, blessings, potions, or Tarot readings on eBay.
According to the site, their move is not meant as a stand against metaphysics or the potential usefulness of such services, but rather …
“Transactions in these categories often result in issues between the buyer and seller that are difficult to resolve. To help build confidence in the marketplace for both buyers and sellers, eBay is discontinuing these categories and including the items on the list of prohibited items.”
And I’ll take them at their word. Psychic advice isn’t the only category to have been discontinued. The list is fairly long:
•psychic or paranormal readings, spells, potions or Tarot readings
•advertising opportunities
•memberships
•advice and instruction in: business & computers, lessons & tutoring, diet & fitness, other
•business & websites for sale – advertising inventory, home-based businesses
•art – digital direct from artist, dealer, or reseller
•recipes
It’s important to note that the sale of actual metaphysical items including Tarot cards, books, or amulets are still permitted for sale.

High Priestess as Justice
The Moon moved into Libra today, and will stay there until Wednesday.
Looking at this transit through the lens of the Tarot, it would be like the High Priestess is wearing Justice’s clothing. She takes on the mantle of the Karmic Decider.
With the High Priestess as Justice, or the Moon in Libra, we might be required to face up to something and decide.
Our emotions will demand respect. If we’ve leaned too far back or forward, we’ll probably find ourselves moving just as dramatically the other way.
It can be a slightly challenging period, perhaps a little manic. But by the time it’s done, something is likely to have been decided upon.
Don’t be alarmed by conflicting emotions. They’re there because you can see both sides. It’s not good enough though to just acknowledge them and walk away.
During this transit you’re being asked to take a stand one way or another. And you’ve got the wisdom and power to do so.

Clear rational thinking is at the fore today. Is there something you need to take control of? Have you been wavering and wishy-washy lately? Stop procrastinating.
Focus, take charge and get it done. Have the courage to be clear and rational. Cut through the fog and let logic rule the day.
You know who you are, you know what you want and you’re sure you deserve it. Go to it. But beware of dictating what’s best for those around you.
You might know how to take care of yourself, but let others take care of their own lives, their own way.
