#17 – The Star
Optimism and rejuvenation are the themes for the day. Active generosity and compassion come easy so don’t hold back. Give and you will receive.
Embrace the Universe’s capacity to provide you with what you need when you need it most. That’s what miracles are and the Star is the goddess of miracles.
If things have been tough lately, now’s a time when you can finally lean back and take a bit of a break. Surround yourself with as much beauty as you can. It will help to replenish your soul.
Art, music, and the glory of the night sky are all worthy subjects of meditation. Let them fill you with the inspiration you need for the next leg of your journey.

Here’s an interesting Tarot Kickstarter project – the Construction Paper Tarot by John Withee.
Using pretty well nothing but construction paper and a trusty pair of blue scissors, Withee has constructed his own version of the Rider Waite Smith deck.
It’s kind of a crazy idea, but as a crafter myself, I totally see the appeal.
And it’s turned out to be quite beautiful. Take a look for yourself by visiting the Construction Paper Tarot project page, and/or Withee’s Facebook page.

#2 – The High Priestess
This is a good day to give your spirit some serious attention. Take a little time by yourself to think about what it is that you believe. What do you think of the world and your place in it? What ultimately gives your life meaning?
It’s also a good time right now to pay attention to the messages other people have been sending you. Let yourself absorb the world around you without feeling the need to jump in right away and take action. This is a better time to sit and receive than to act.
Observe, listen and think about what it is you’re doing. Through reflection you’ll start to see all sides. Through this wider perspective you’ll find the priorities and direction that can help you on your path.

Though her Tarot work is not part of this exhibition, if you happen to be in Bilbao, Spain, and are a fan of Niki de Saint Phalle, creator of the Tarot Garden, you really should try to get down to the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao sometime between now and June 11th.
Niki de Saint Phalle is a major retrospective of this incredible artist’s work and includes over 200 pieces and archive documents, some of which have never been published.
In the video below, Álvaro Rodriguez Fominaya, one of the show’s curators, gives us a little sneak peak of what to expect. Take a look.
I so wish I could go!

Victory is finally at hand. You’ve won the game and everyone’s cheering. It wasn’t always easy so the win is that much sweeter.
Have a good time and enjoy what you’ve worked so hard to master.
Your good fortune probably has a lot to do with staying true to your heart. Keep it up.
This isn’t an unexpected gift from the skies, it’s acknowledgement for doing something special. Good work.

The Moon moves into Virgo today and will be there until Saturday.
From a Tarot perspective, you might think of this transit as the High Priestess wearing the Hermit’s clothes. She’s putting on her cowl.
The Moon in Virgo, or High Priestess in the Hermit’s clothing, is a time for practical, quiet reflection. Seeking the advice of an expert, and listening carefully to what they have to say could be worthwhile.
Or maybe someone will be asking you for your advice.
Your home is more important now than the outside world. Start thinking how to make it more practical. You might not be ready to do the work just yet, but this is a great time to plan.
Emotionally, it’s a time of calm. Perfect for listening and reflecting rather than acting out in passion. Take your time. There’s no rush.
Study, organization, contemplation, solitude, emotional self-reflection. Don’t be afraid to be alone right now. There’s lot’s to do on your own.

Today it might seem like you’ve got it all, and yet there’s still something missing. Emotionally, you’ve got plenty of support. People around you love you and you love them back. Despite it all though, there’s a nagging feeling that it’s just not enough.
Perhaps you’re fantasizing about a new love, a new friend, or at a new spark to make what you’ve already got even more special.
Examine these feelings carefully and determine what it is that leaves you slightly unsatisfied. Are you being reasonable – or a bit of a brat. Pay attention to what you’ve got and don’t forget to give thanks.
At the same time – if there is something missing, it’s missing and there’s no getting around it. Meditate on what it is that leaves you wanting more and figure out whether or not it’s something you should pursue.
Remember though, what you wish for might just appear out of thin air – make sure you really want it?

It’s time to get down to the details. A new project is in the works and you’ve got the task of making it happen – or at least starting the process off.
Keep the reason you’re doing it in mind – that’s the fire that drives the whole enterprise.
If the less than exciting details are getting you down, remember that it’s the details that build the foundation to any project.
Don’t be afraid to sludge and trudge on through. It’ll be worth it in the end.

Being thoroughly sick of this cold cold winter, I asked the cards, is spring coming soon?
The card I got was the Ace of Pentacles, a brilliantly spring-like card that not only suggests the start of something new (like a new season), it features one of spring’s more iconic flowers – the Lily.
I know that by March 21st winter is officially over, and we don’t need cards to tell us so, but this Ace of Pentacles gives me hope that not only will it be spring by the calendar, it might actually feel like it too.
Here’s hoping its true!

You feel full up with all the love around you. In fact, you might even be a little overwhelmed with how much you care and how loved you feel.
This is a happy time to be with your family or friends or whoever it is that makes up your social community.
You’re probably nearing the end of an important emotional phase. Taking the time now to recognize and be grateful for all you have will help prepare you for the beginning of the next stage of your journey.
Celebrate with your loved ones, remembering with joy and humour all the good and not so good days that brought you to where you are now.
