#6 – The Lovers
Are there choices to be made? Decisions you’ve put off for another time? Well this is the time. The Lovers card asks us to finally make up our minds – either commit or get out now.
On a personal level, the Lovers reminds us to balance the opposites within ourselves. Are your ying and yang in sync? Does your conscious experience compliment your unconscious dream state or do they seem at war? Are you living a life that satisfies your soul?
Heavy questions, but this is a great day to think about them. In fact, you might find it difficult not to.
This is a serious commitment you’re thinking about. To help you make up your mind, ask yourself which direction brings you closer to your soul’s call. You probably already know the answer.
The Lovers is really a beautiful energy of inner and outer unity, enjoy.

High Priestess as Temperance
The Moon moves into Sagittarius today and will be there until Sunday.
Looking at it through the eyes of the Tarot, you can describe this transit as being like the High Priestess wearing Temperance’s clothing. She’s dressed like an angel.
The Moon in Sagittarius, or High Priestess in Temperance’s clothing, indicates a time when intellect, practicality, emotions and passion can work together in relative ease.
What’s normally only an idea might find its way to becoming real. Even-tempered inspiration and emotional playfulness can create what look like miracles.
Take this time to bring your emotions in line with your passions. And play with your most serious ideas. It’s in combining the unexpected that you’ll likely find gold.

#5 – The Hierophant
Spiritual questions and tradition are highlighted during this period. It’s probably important to you now to look carefully at the spiritual structures in your life. Why do you believe what you do? Who are your spiritual authorities and what gives them their legitimacy? Who decides issues of morality for you, your family and/or your community?
Many of these questions are answered with cultural traditions. Today, you’ll probably be examining whether or not the answers you’re accustomed to are still satisfactory. They might be or they might not be. Don’t be afraid to seek out your truth simply because it rubs against your comfort zone. Sometimes growth hurts a bit.
You might be asked to judge someone else’s dispute, or find the need to go to an authority for answers yourself. Keep your mind open, but your skepticism on. Ultimately, you’re the only one who can decide whether something makes sense for your life or not.

Page of Cups
Sweetness abounds when the Page of Cups is around. This is a great day to communicate emotions – enthusiastically and without censor, especially to those you love.
There’s a lightness in the air and the sense that something new could be starting. And it just might be.
It’s good to remember though, that there’s no need for you to commit to anything serious right now. It’s still the time of freshness and beginnings. Becoming heavy now would only dampen what’s still just growing.
Express yourself and let your imagination wander.

The moon moves into Scorpio today and stays there until Thursday.
If you translate this transit into the Tarot, you could say that the High Priestess is dressed as Death. She’s in the midst of a great transformation.
The Moon in Scorpio, or High Priestess in Death’s clothing, suggests a time when feelings run deep. The ability to end relationships that don’t work, or release stagnant emotions is accentuated.
If there’s a situation in your life that’s nearing its completion, especially if it’s emotional or relationship-oriented, this might be a good time to let it go. At least explore it with emotional clarity.
This isn’t a time to be afraid, but rather a time to face your fears with equanimity and intelligence.
You’ve got what it takes. Don’t back down from the scary stuff.

2 of Swords
This is a day to take your time and think things through – calmly and quietly. Trust your inner voice and let silence be your friend. There’s probably a lot of emotion behind your thoughts these days. Try to keep balance.
Make sure you’re not overthinking things. It’s all about listening to both your logic and your intuition. Both have something to say to you right now. Try not to let your emotions sweep you away or your thoughts crush you down. You’ll know what to do when you need to do it. No need to act right now, just sit.
Mental peace is the energy you’ll discover in your quietude. Keep still. Keep calm. Your thoughts may be heavy, but you’re more than strong enough to hold them.

Take a look at this very interesting new Tarot project by the Asian American Literary Review … it’s the Asian American Tarot: A Mental Health Project.
This majors-only deck is part of a larger project focusing on mental health and arts-based self-care within the Asian American community. As explained on their project page …
“In the spirit of fortune-telling practices so prevalent in our communities, we’re creating a new deck of tarot cards, featuring original art and text that work to reveal the hidden contours of our Asian American emotional, psychic, and spiritual lives, as well as the systems of violence that bear down upon them. Replacing the 22 archetypes of the traditional major arcana (e.g., the Empress, the Hierophant, the Wheel of Fortune, etc.) are figures drawn directly from Asian American life — the Migrant, the Foreigner, the Shopkeeper, the Adoptee, the Model Minority, the Desecrated Temple — that we’ve asked some of our commuities’ most exciting artists, poets, and writers to reinterpret.
Because Asian American wellness fundamentally depends upon anti-racism, our deck is an anti-racist hack for the tradintonal deck: take out the existing major arcana, insert ours, and voila! An Asian American mental health tarot, a little self-care magic.”
This looks like a fabulous project … please visit the Asian American Tarot project page to learn more.

#11 – Strength
Learn to direct your inner wildness during this period of fiery intensity and your personal power is likely to grow. Innocence and purity work together to balance your passion with wisdom.
Explore ways to act assertively but without aggression. The gentle touch might go a lot further than a loud voice or an impetuous rage.
It’s a very creative time and you’re encouraged to allow yourself room to flourish. Don’t be shy. This is the moment to take action and move forward with plans you may have held off on until now.
