You may have more physical prosperity than you thought.  Look around and see the support that’s there.

It’s likely that the money or physical support or whatever it is you need is at hand and that those who said they were behind you really are.

Trust your family and loved ones, they really do have your back and were never going to let you fall.

Open yourself to abundance and you might be surprised at how much is there for you.

And when you prosper, don’t forget to be generous.  No one ever does it all on their own (even when we think we do).  We all need each other, and it’s through sharing that we discover our true wealth.

Do you have a favourite Major Arcana Tarot card?

I do. It’s the Star.

Of course, I like the other cards too … how can you not?

I love the Fool’s freedom and sense that anything is possible. I love the Magician’s focus and ability to manifest. I love the High Priestess and the Empress as the powerful feminine archetypes they are, focused on clarity of mind and the creative force.

I love the Emperor’s resolve, and the Hierophant’s moral questioning. I admire the commitment of the Lovers, the steadfast movement forward of the Chariot, and the ideas of fairness and equality that Justice holds dear.

The Hermit is my soul card, and I embrace his search for truth within. I love the Wheel of Fortune as it spins us towards something new, and as a Leo, I especially like the Strength card with its lion’s roar and the maiden’s gentle touch.

I don’t mind swinging with the Hanged Man as he looks for new perspectives, and even the Death card can teach us how to move forward as we transform. Temperance helps balance the contradictions within ourselves, and the Devil can be good for a laugh. The Tower’s a bit a downer, but even it gives us a chance to start fresh.

The Moon helps us explore the dark mysteries, while the Sun shines light on it all and asks us to celebrate. I love them both, and the Judgement card too, as it leads us on towards the unremitting joy of the World card’s spiral dance.

But it’s the Star card that’s closest to my heart. The Star card because it offers hope and healing and the idea that tomorrow is going to be okay regardless of what might have happened today. I love the Star. It’s my favourite Tarot card.

Ace of Wands

The flame has been ignited and there’s a new feeling floating around.  This is a day to let inspiration lead the way.

Throw out your old excuses and start something you really care about.  Passion and fire are what motivates the soul and it’s time to listen to yours.

You might not yet know what’s different but you know your old way of doing things is no longer possible.  A new spirit has been planted and you can probably feel the excitement beginning to build.

Whatever it is that moves you with enthusiasm should be your starting point.  Being true to your spirit isn’t being selfish.  It’s what makes you fully human.

The Moon moves into Libra today, and will stay there until Monday.

Looking at this transit through the lens of the Tarot, it would be like the High Priestess is wearing Justice’s clothing. She takes on the mantle of the Karmic Decider.

With the High Priestess as Justice, or the Moon in Libra, we might be required to face up to something and decide.

Our emotions will demand respect. If we’ve leaned too far back or forward, we’ll probably find ourselves moving just as dramatically the other way.

It can be a slightly challenging period, perhaps a little manic. But by the time it’s done, something is likely to have been decided upon.

Don’t be alarmed by conflicting emotions. They’re there because you can see both sides. It’s not good enough though to just acknowledge them and walk away.

During this transit you’re being asked to take a stand one way or another. And you’ve got the wisdom and power to do so.

4 of Swords

Relax, stay calm and maybe even sleep on it.  There’s been a lot on your mind lately, and some of it has been quite heavy.  You need to slow down and reconnect with yourself.

Meditate on the changes you want in your life.   Figure out where your strengths lie and take that route to your goal.  It wouldn’t hurt to even reconsider the goal.  Are you sure you still want it?

And don’t forget your spirit.  Without it, the mental world can be pretty bleak.  Trust your dreams and keep in touch with your soul.  Make a truce with yourself – life isn’t always a battle.

A new sense of self and perspective on the world are available.  But you have to be quiet and still to find them.  Take today to figure it out.  You’ll be stronger in the long run.

#21 – The World

Dance and enjoy!  You deserve to celebrate after a long journey.  A phase in your life is coming to a close – it might be big, but it’s not scary.

This is a good day to reflect on what’s been happening in your life over the last long while.  Where were your successes and what would you rather leave behind?  How did all the little stories turn into a whole big narrative?

Review, laugh and maybe even cry, but don’t carry old burdens with you going forward.  Be free and open and willing to be vulnerable.  You’ve done what you can.  It’s time now to simply rejoice in your own little slice of the universe.  You’ll have plenty of time to plan your next step tomorrow.

The Moon moved into Virgo and will be there until Friday.

From a Tarot perspective, you might think of this transit as the High Priestess wearing the Hermit’s clothes. She’s putting on her cowl.

The Moon in Virgo, or High Priestess in the Hermit’s clothing, is a time for practical, quiet reflection. Seeking the advice of an expert, and listening carefully to what they have to say could be worthwhile.

Or maybe someone will be asking you for your advice.

Your home is more important now than the outside world. Start thinking how to make it more practical. You might not be ready to do the work just yet, but this is a great time to plan.

Emotionally, it’s a time of calm. Perfect for listening and reflecting rather than acting out in passion. Take your time. There’s no rush.

Study, organization, contemplation, solitude, emotional self-reflection. Don’t be afraid to be alone right now. There’s lot’s to do on your own.

King of Disks

Physically things will likely be pretty good today.  You’re probably feeling strong and have enough of everything that you really need.  You might even have more than enough and can give some away.

If you do, take advantage of this period to be generous.  You’ve done wonderfully in building your world, see if you can help someone else do the same.

Prosperity and stability are highlighted.   Enjoy the fruits of your labour.  It’s been your steady steps and sometimes less than exciting work that has brought you to where you are.  Good work.
