Tablets of Feline Arcana

April 30th, 2016 § 0 comments § permalink

There’s a pretty amusing backstory to the Tablets of Feline Arcana Tarot project.

According to the deck designer, Chris Muscat Azzopardi, there was once a time that cats were god-like creatures who ruled the earth. They had both the power of reason and the power of prophecy, but it didn’t work out so well.

Take a look at the video below, and if you want to learn more about this deck (and the cat people that ruled the world), visit the Tablets of Feline Arcana project page.

This Marseille-inspired Modernist Tarot deck from BRut by Uusi is really nice. If you’re looking for a clean, modern take on the traditional deck, this is definitely a project to see.

And the wood cases they’re making to accompany the deck are simply gorgeous. Take a look by visiting the Kickstarter project page or the Uusi website.
