With the support of Perrier and a lot of black paint, he transformed the Lords South Beach Hotel into a ferocious looking fortune-telling dog named Gypsy.

Magician as Temperance
Mercury moves into Sagittarius today and will stay there until December 31st.
Looking at this transit from a Tarot perspective, it’s like the Magician is wearing Temperance’s clothing. His cape has turned into wings and he’s playing with water.
Mercury in Sagittarius, or the Magician in Temperance’s clothing, can be a time of balanced inspiration.
It’s great for expressing ideas that might normally seem too big to consider. Give them some thought, you never know what you’ll come up with.
Issues or situations that seemed impossible to figure out might suddenly come together, as if by divine inspiration.
But really it’s clear vision and a good dose of faith that’s probably at work. Direct it with will and you can make miracles happen.

#14 – Temperance
This is a great day to even things out. Balance and temperance are the energies surrounding you now. Can you bring your physical world into harmony with your emotional state?
Temperance is about that perfect mix, neither too much nor too little. It’s about becoming conscious of what you want to be both inside and out, and courageous enough to try.
You are responsible for any healing you might need. The first step is to acknowledge what might be out of balance and then start readjusting.
Sometimes it’s about finding a new way to meld your internal opposites; sometimes it’s about casting out what no longer works. In all cases though, it’s about being true to your self and connecting to the grander universe.
Try asking an angel for some help today. You might be surprised at the result.

Last Tuesday, a three-judge panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals heard the case of Patricia Moore-King, a psychic reader from Chesterfield County, Virginia.
As I wrote about last year, King challenged the ‘fortune-telling’ statute in Chesterfield County after being denied a business license back in 2009.
She argued that her work constitutes free speech according to the US Constitution, and that the zoning laws and onerous license procedures necessary for her to obtain a business license inhibit her freedom of expression and discriminate against her based on her beliefs, viewpoint, and content of expression.
In October of last year, U.S. District Judge John A. Gibney Jr ruled against King’s argument claiming that her form of counseling was inherently deceptive and therefore not protected by the Constitution.
King appealed the decision, and it was this appeal that was heard by the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday.
Though King’s lawyer, Roman P. Storzer argued that his client’s freedom of speech and religion were at issue, Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson III commented that he thought the case was more a question of licensing and zoning regulations.
Also at issue was whether or not King’s belief in a ‘new age spirituality’ is actually a protected religious practice or simply a chosen life style or philosophy.
It might take several weeks or even months before a final ruling on the case is made.

Sweetness abounds when the page of cups is around. This is a great day to communicate emotions – enthusiastically and without censor, especially to those you love.
There’s a lightness in the air and the sense that something new could be starting. And it just might be.
It’s good to remember though, that there’s no need for you to commit to anything serious right now. It’s still the time of freshness and beginnings. Becoming heavy now would only dampen what’s still just growing.

Prince of Cups
You’ll probably be feeling quite loving today. Emotions are open and flowing and you’re getting along with everyone.
People will likely find you even more attractive than usual, and you them. But don’t confuse that with getting serious.
Emotions may have been high lately, or at least all over the place. You might find yourself thinking a lot about what in life (and love) truly makes you happy.
It’s a good time to think about it. But don’t worry, there’s no need to make any firm commitments right now. Just look around you and experience what life has to offer.

I was pretty excited a few weeks ago when I came across a printing company that would print up small batches of cards at very reasonable prices.
Since my Georgie’s Tarot was already laid out and ready to go, I decided to give it a shot and have the deck I drew almost ten years ago finally become ‘real’.
Till now, the only copies I had were hand-made with sticker-paper and re-purposed regular playing cards.
But that’s all changed!! Yay! What a joy to properly shuffle my own cards!
Though I drew them for myself and never meant them for sale (you can download the images for free here), if anyone wants to order a deck, I’d be happy to have one printed up and get it out to you at cost plus shipping.
That would be about $12 plus however much it would cost to get it to you from Toronto.
The backs of this batch are all just plain pink, but I’m likely to change that up the next time I order.
