Learning Lenormand with Two-Card Combos

January 27th, 2013 § 0 comments § permalink

Here’s another excellent video tutorial by Donnaleigh de LaRose. In it she demonstrates how to read two-card combinations with the Lenormand deck.

It’s a great technique for learning the Lenormand, but it’s also a fabulous exercise for learning two-card combos with the Tarot as well.

Take a look …

For more information on how to read the Lenormand deck, visit Donnaleigh’s Youtube page and/or listen to her Lenormand podcasts on Beyond Worlds Radio.

Tarot, Lenormand, and Little Red Riding Hood

January 14th, 2013 § 0 comments § permalink

For people interested in learning to read both Tarot and Lenormand decks, Donnaleigh de LaRose has been putting together some great videos at her YouTube page.

In the one posted below, she compares Tarot and Lenormand by asking each deck to describe a story most of us know quite well – Little Red Riding Hood.

As you can see in the video, the Lenormand cards tell a more detailed story, while the Tarot provides a fabulous overview and motive for what’s going on.

Take a look! And if you want to learn more about reading the Lenormand, be sure to visit Tarot Tribe Beyond Worlds on YouTube.

Beyond Worlds with Robert M. Place and Enrique Enriquez

September 9th, 2012 § 0 comments § permalink

Tonight on Beyond Worlds we have a very special treat – two of my favourite Tarot readers, Robert M. Place and Enrique Enriquez are both going to be our guests.

And not only are these Tarot icons going to be on the show, they’re going to be interviewing each other. I can hardly wait to hear what they have to say.

Robert Place of course is the creator of many incredible Tarot decks including the Alchemical Tarot, the Buddha Tarot, the Vampire Tarot, the Tarot of the Saints, and the soon to be released Tarot of the Sevenfold Mysteries.

He’s also the author of multiple books on the histories of Tarot, magic, astrology, and alchemy.

Enrique Enriquez is an inspirational Tarot poet and author of Tarology. He’s also the star of Chris Delio’s most excellent recent Tarot documentary, Tarology: the poetics of tarot.

This is going to be a fun night – I hope you can join us. We’ll be live in the chat room. And if you’d like to call in to listen, the number is (646) 200-0765.

3 of Wands from the Rider Waite Smith Tarot

It’s Tarot Intensive night on Beyond Worlds! And tonight we’ll be looking at the masculine 3s – the 3 of Wands and the 3 of Swords.

3 of Swords from the Rider Waite Smith Tarot

3 of Swords

Fire and air, virtue and sorrow, gestation and release. These are pretty powerful cards and worthy of some serious exploration.

And that’s exactly what we’ll be doing with the Beyond Worlds’ panel of experts.

We’ll be looking closely at each card – it’s number, element, astrological connection, mythological associations, how it plays in a reading both upright and reverse, and much, much more.

Join us live in the chat room or call in to listen at (646) 200-0765.

And if you miss the live show, don’t worry – it’s always available in archive.

3 of Cups from the Smith Waite Tarot

Tonight on Beyond Worlds it’s another Tarot Intensive!!

The cards we’ll be exploring this time are the ‘feminine’ threes, the 3 of Cups and the 3 of Pentacles – emotional abundance and material mastery.

3 of Pentacles from the Smith Waite Tarot

Join myself and the Beyond Worlds panel of Tarot experts to dig down into the story of these two wonderful threes.

There’s a lot more to them then just dancing girls and work.

We’ll all be live in the chat room, and you can call in to listen at (646) 200-0765.

Beyond Worlds with Dan Donche – the Darkana Tarot

July 8th, 2012 § 0 comments § permalink

I promised it last month, but it’s really going to happen tonight – Dan Donche, the Inappropriate Tarot Reader will be joining us live on Beyond Worlds.

Not only is Donche hilarious, he’s a creative genius as well, as can be seen by his about-to-be-published Darkana Tarot Deck.

I’ve had mine on order since February and can hardly wait to see it for real. And I’m really looking forward to hearing what Donche has to say about it tonight.

Join me and Donnaleigh de LaRose and everyone else live in the chat room, or call in at (646) 200-0765.

It’s going to be fun, and probably inappropriate as well.

Beyond Worlds with Robert M. Place – Divining Methods

July 1st, 2012 § 0 comments § permalink

Tonight on Beyond Worlds we welcome back the brilliant and always illuminating Robert M. Place.

He’ll be joining Donnaleigh de LaRose and myself to talk about methods of divination.

Using everything from entrails, bones, and shells, to stars, palms, and Tarot cards, humans have been busy divining for a long time now.

What does it mean to ‘divine’ and how have we been doing it? Not to mention, why?

Is divination the same thing as predicting? Or is it something more?

These are some of the questions we’ll be exploring with Robert, and it’s sure to be fascinating.

Join us live in the chat room, or you can call in to listen at (646) 200-0765.
