For people interested in learning to read both Tarot and Lenormand decks, Donnaleigh de LaRose has been putting together some great videos at her YouTube page.
In the one posted below, she compares Tarot and Lenormand by asking each deck to describe a story most of us know quite well – Little Red Riding Hood.
As you can see in the video, the Lenormand cards tell a more detailed story, while the Tarot provides a fabulous overview and motive for what’s going on.
Take a look! And if you want to learn more about reading the Lenormand, be sure to visit Tarot Tribe Beyond Worlds on YouTube.
Since 2010, The Academy of Cartomancy Arts & Sciences has been handing out Pecto Awards meant ‘to celebrate and acknowledge the best achievement in cartomancy’ for the previous year.
There are twelve categories for cartomancy enthusiasts to vote for including everything from Outstanding Tarot and Oracle Decks, Illustrators and Collaborators to Outstanding Books, Publishers, and Vendors.
And not only are these Tarot icons going to be on the show, they’re going to be interviewing each other. I can hardly wait to hear what they have to say.

This is going to be a fun night – I hope you can join us. We’ll be live in the chat room. And if you’d like to call in to listen, the number is (646) 200-0765.
It’s Tarot Intensive night on Beyond Worlds! And tonight we’ll be looking at the masculine 3s – the 3 of Wands and the 3 of Swords.
3 of Swords
Fire and air, virtue and sorrow, gestation and release. These are pretty powerful cards and worthy of some serious exploration.
And that’s exactly what we’ll be doing with the Beyond Worlds’ panel of experts.
We’ll be looking closely at each card – it’s number, element, astrological connection, mythological associations, how it plays in a reading both upright and reverse, and much, much more.
Join us live in the chat room or call in to listen at (646) 200-0765.
And if you miss the live show, don’t worry – it’s always available in archive.
Not only is Donche hilarious, he’s a creative genius as well, as can be seen by his about-to-be-published Darkana Tarot Deck.
I’ve had mine on order since February and can hardly wait to see it for real. And I’m really looking forward to hearing what Donche has to say about it tonight.
Join me and Donnaleigh de LaRose and everyone else live in the chat room, or call in at (646) 200-0765.
It’s going to be fun, and probably inappropriate as well.
