So the 20th anniversary of the Bay Area Tarot Symposium, otherwise known as BATS 2011, has come to a close. It was FABULOUS!!
So many wonderful people, incredible Tarot insights, and of course a chance to spend all my limited funds on new decks and Tarot books.
It was so much fun that’s there’s almost too much to talk about. So I’ve taken the easy route and just posted some photos instead.
My pictures don’t nearly do the event justice, but hopefully they’re enough to give you a taste of what it was like.
Thank you Thalassa, and to all the presenters, volunteers, vendors and participants. It was an amazing conference, and I can’t wait to get back for year 21.
Our topic is ‘problem cards’ and how to turn them from frustrating adversaries to your best friends in the deck.
We’ll also be looking at the dark and difficult aspects of the cards and how to read their shadows and light.
And of course with BATS coming up August 27-28, we’ll be talking about that incredible event as well. This year marks the 20th anniversary and it’s sure to be a Tarot extravaganza.

Have you put these Tarot conferences in your calendar yet? If not, do it now and start planning your trip.
They’re going to be amazing events, gathering the community and taking Tarot way beyond its little white books.
New York City, San Francisco, Chicago and Ste. Suzanne, France. You’d want to go to these places anyway. Tarot only makes them that much more excellent.
