hanged man treasure by georgic

Yay!!! The Toronto Tarot Portal is back!!!

James Wells and Andrew McGregor, two of my favourite Toronto Tarot teachers, have returned to the podcast airwaves after an almost one year hiatus.

In their latest episode, Andrew and James dig deep into Tarot Trump #12, the Hanged Man.

What does he mean in our daily lives?

Sacrifice, being stuck, getting hung up, punished, or just hanging out getting ready to change.

And what does James mean by ‘wise mush’?

Beyond Worlds – Boundaries for Tarot Readers (part 2)

April 1st, 2012 § 0 comments § permalink

We had so much to talk about last time that we’re doing another show …. tonight on Beyond Worlds it’s part two of our discussion on Boundaries for Tarot readers.

The expert panel is back to talk about how to establish, modify, and/or maintain personal and professional boundaries as a reader. And it’s not always easy.

Each reader has a different experience and a different perspective on how to work with clients or other readers. And each will have to determine for themselves where they’ll draw their personal and professional lines.

Join Donnaleigh de LaRose, Diane Wilkes, Theresa Reed, James Wells, Sharon Brown, Marcy Currier, and me live in the chat room, or call in at (646) 200-0765.

We’ve got lots to share.

Toronto Tarot Symposium 2012

March 13th, 2012 § 0 comments § permalink

This past Saturday I was lucky enough to attend the Toronto Tarot Symposium 2012.

Hosted by Tarot master James Wells, the small but enthusiastic crowd of Tarot readers had a fabulous time.

We learnt how to make our own Tarot lay-outs, how to use Tarot to understand astrology, how to use Tarot to create everyday rituals, and how to find our own inner fortune-tellers.

Mine apparently was someone who called herself Madame LeGonza and thought she got messages from a Delphic spirit. Interesting.

The whole day was a lot of fun, especially getting to talk with all the other readers. I really enjoyed myself.

Thank you James – it was a great event!

The World

Tonight on Beyond Worlds we have a very special show. It’s a Tarot panel, and our topic is Boundaries for Readers.

We’ll be discussing boundaries of all types, the ones we encounter within our readings, and the ones we might have with friends, family, and clients when they ask for readings.

The discussion will include everything from taboo topics to issues surrounding payment, free readings, and psychic addiction.

Join Donnaleigh de LaRose, Diane Wilkes, Theresa Reed, James Wells, Sharon Brown, Marcy Currier, and me live in the chatroom. Or call in at (646) 200-0765.

It’s going to be a really interesting discussion.

Toronto Tarot Portal

James Wells and Andrew McGregor have been putting together an amazing monthly series of podcasts about all sorts of fascinating Tarot topics.

And they’re free to download any time you want.

Both Wells and McGregor are Toronto Tarot readers and educators, and they’ve called their series Toronto Tarot Portal: a monthly podcast on all things tarot.

They started recording in November of last year and have been covering the big issues – love, sex, money, fate, destiny and magic.

Intelligent, amusing and highly informative, these podcasts are worth listening to whether you’re a Tarot reader or not.

Omega Tarot Conference July 29-31, 2011

Here’s another Tarot event that’s coming up fast …

The Omega Tarot Conference will be held from July 29-31 in gorgeous Rhinebeck, New York. This year’s topic is Tarot: Fate & Free Will.

Rachel Pollack and Mary K. Greer host the event, and this year they’ve invited three especially talented Tarot teachers to join them.

Toronto’s own, James Wells, author of Tarot for Manifestation, will be there. As will the founder of Tarot Professionals, Marcus Katz.

To fill out the roster will be Ellen Lorenzi-Prince, creator of Tarot of the Crone and Tarot Paper Dolls.

From the beauty of the Hudson Valley, to the brilliance of the company and the magic of the cards, this is going to be an amazing retreat. Get there if you can.
