High Priestess in Star's Clothing
The Moon moves into Aquarius today and stays there until Wednesday.
Described in Tarot cards, this transit would be like the High Priestess is dressed as the Star. In other words, her robes are gone and she’s naked as the bird in the tree behind her.
The Moon in Aquarius, or High Priestess in the Star’s clothing, can sometimes be emotionally stressful. Hope may be in the air, but it’s a cautious hope.
Emotionally you feel like sharing, bubbling over with dreams for the future. But your mind keeps getting in the way, reminding you that dreams can sometimes be nightmares.
Try not to spend what could be a nice time double guessing yourself or listing off all the reasons things could go wrong. They might. But they probably won’t.
Be real, but not a wet blanket. Rather than smothering your dreams, direct them with intelligence.

the Sun as the Star
The Sun moves into Aquarius today and will be there until February 19th.
Looking at this transit from a Tarot perspective, it would be like the Sun child is dressed as the Star. He’s as naked as he ever was, but now he’s a lady, and up past dark.
The Sun is exuberant and full of life. He’s child-like but not childish. He’s been through it all and has well earned the victory he enjoys.
Open and free, he has no boundaries but for those he makes himself. And he has nothing to hide, no shame, no secrets. The Sun exposes it all.
The Sun is exactly what he seems to be, simple and clear, and enthusiastic about every new day.
The Star is made of the same stuff as the Sun, but she’s much more quiet, and more nurturing than joyous.
She too is open and unashamed to bare her truth. Her focus though is on healing, rejuvenation, and bringing hope into the dark night.
The Star is grounded and balanced, but very attuned to how emotions play. And she knows exactly what’s needed to bring peace to any troubled soul.
The Sun is comfortable in the role of the Star. Though he has to tone it down a bit, he loves shining at night.
The Sun in Aquarius, or the Sun dressed as the Star, is a time of active grace, perfect for healing and emotional renewal.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to dream, and to allow yourself a ray of optimism, especially if the going’s been a little rough lately.
Trust yourself, and the universe. It’s not out to get you. In fact, it wants to help.
Find your flow and don’t be afraid of letting your feelings spill out. You might have needed to for a while now.
And if there was ever a time to wish upon a star, this is it. She’s listening.

High Priestess as the Devil
The Moon moves into Capricorn today and will stay there until Monday.
If you were to describe this transit using the Tarot, you might say that the High Priestess is wearing the Devil’s clothing. The virginal goddess has gotten downright beastly.
The Moon in Capricorn, or High Priestess in the Devil’s clothing, is a period of potential internal conflict. The physical world might seem to draw you away from what you typically believe to be right.
You might feel driven or compelled by behaviours and attitudes that go against the grain of your morality. It could be liberating or disturbing, depending on your secrets.
Whatever’s going on though, don’t be too hard on yourself. Get obsessions out of your system, and learn what you can about yourself while you do so.
You should be ready to move on soon. There’s nothing wrong with a little focused physicality. Just don’t get stuck.

With the High Priestess as Justice, or the Moon in Libra, we might be required to face up to something and decide.
Our emotions will demand respect. If we’ve leaned too far back or forward, we’ll probably find ourselves moving just as dramatically the other way.
It can be a slightly challenging period, perhaps a little manic. But by the time it’s done, something is likely to have been decided upon.
Don’t be alarmed by conflicting emotions. They’re there because you can see both sides. It’s not good enough though to just acknowledge them and walk away.
During this transit you’re being asked to take a stand one way or another. And you’ve got the wisdom and power to do so.

High Priestess as Strength
The Moon moves into Leo today and stays there until Thursday.
Translated into Tarot cards, this transit would be like the High Priestess is wearing Strength’s clothing. She’s thrown off her heavy cape and is spending some time outside with her lion.

The silence is broken. Quiet wisdom and passion can be united. During this time, it might be difficult to keep your ideas to yourself. But why should you?
Try finding an outlet for plans you’ve been sitting on? This is an opportunity to shine if you’re not over-burdened by self-consciousness.
It might feel a little uncomfortable at first, but letting your wilder side out right now could be positive. The sun isn’t always shining. Take advantage of it when it does.

the Magician dressed as the Devil
Mercury moves into Capricorn today and will stay there until January 27th.
From a Tarot perspective, it’s like the Magician is wearing the Devil’s clothing. He’s ditched the robes and is letting his beard grow.
The Magician is bright, quick, and not easily restrained. He rules his world, a world he created for himself through determination and a focused will.
And he knows how to inspire. He’s a man with a silver tongue and a wit to match.
He’s always got a fresh perspective and all the tools necessary to make his vision a reality.
The Devil is very different sort of character. He’s dark and controlling, and doesn’t bother trying to convince or enchant. He’s more likely to simply demand.
Nor is he particularly interested in concepts of free will, or self-determination. He’s concerned more with the nuts and bolts of things, and when he’s made up his mind he sees no reason for discussion.
He’s sure he’s right and not many have the courage to tell him any different.
The Devil does get things done though, and he plays as hard as he works. If he could just lighten up a bit, he might not be so scary.
The Magician isn’t as comfortable in this position as he is out in the sun, but he likes the Devil’s raw power and will do his best to use it to his advantage.
Mercury in Capricorn, or the Magician dressed as the Devil, can be a time of intense communication and practical inspiration.
There’s an opportunity now to reevaluate areas in your life that seem out of control, or too controlled.
If you’re obsessing on anything, this might be the time to refocus your intentions and use that compulsive type energy in the service of your higher goals rather than towards more of the same old routines that don’t seem to be getting you anywhere.
Communication is especially clear and practical during this transit, though it’s more focused on the physical realities than on philosophical ideals. Use it to plan and restructure, there will be time soon enough to let yourself dream.
And if you don’t try to trick anyone, or force your will on them, it’s a great time to hone your leadership skills. As far as your own life goes, you’re definitely the one in charge.
