The moon moves into Scorpio today and stays there until Tuesday.
If you translate this transit into the Tarot, you could say that the High Priestess is dressed as Death. She’s in the midst of a great transformation.
The Moon in Scorpio, or High Priestess in Death’s clothing, suggests a time when feelings run deep. The ability to end relationships that don’t work, or release stagnant emotions is accentuated.
If there’s a situation in your life that’s nearing its completion, especially if it’s emotional or relationship-oriented, this might be a good time to let it go. At least explore it with emotional clarity.
This isn’t a time to be afraid, but rather a time to face your fears with equanimity and intelligence.
You’ve got what it takes. Don’t back down from the scary stuff.

Empress as the Lovers' Angel
Venus moves into Gemini today and stays there until July 4th.
From a Tarot perspective, this transit is like the Empress is wearing the clothes of the Lovers’ Angel. She’s switched out her robes and grabbed some wings.
The Empress is the great mother of the deck. She’s devoted, nurturing and capable. Helping her children to flourish is her primary goal.
She’s Mother Earth, the source of all bounty. She celebrates the sensual, and creates beauty in everything she touches.
The Empress is fertility, fluidity, and passion. She’s a goddess of love.
The Lovers, of course, are also concerned with concepts of love. But they’re in love with each other and the thoughts they project back and forth like a mirror.
They want to express everything as openly and honestly as possible, hoping to find some sort of unity in all the contradictions life presents.
The Lovers want to commit to each other, and to the idea that two can indeed become one.
The Empress is thrilled to officiate at the Lovers’ union, but she’d rather be down on the ground giving the newlyweds a hug than floating above like a magical apparition.
And maybe she wouldn’t have chosen gray robes, but she has the knack for making all colours beautiful, gray being no exception.
Venus in Gemini, or the Empress in the clothes of the Lovers’ Angel, is a fantastic time to commit to someone or something you love, or care about greatly. The blessings of Mother Earth are on side.
Assuming of course, you’ve explored all aspects of the issue, be they romantic, familial, professional or academic.
The Lover’s might be in love, but they’re no fools. They insist on looking carefully before they leap.
And during this time, we’re all encouraged to do so as well.
Explore everything that makes up the sensual world. Take part in life. Revel in it even. Then give some serious thought to all that you’ve experienced.
Learning more about the magic of the world won’t break its spell. It’s beauty will only become more awesome through educated eyes.

High Priestess as Justice
The Moon moved into Libra today, and will stay there until Sunday.
Looking at this transit through the lens of the Tarot, it would be like the High Priestess is wearing Justice’s clothing. She takes on the mantle of the Karmic Decider.
With the High Priestess as Justice, or the Moon in Libra, we might be required to face up to something and decide.
Our emotions will demand respect. If we’ve leaned too far back or forward, we’ll probably find ourselves moving just as dramatically the other way.
It can be a slightly challenging period, perhaps a little manic. But by the time it’s done, something is likely to have been decided upon.
Don’t be alarmed by conflicting emotions. They’re there because you can see both sides. It’s not good enough though to just acknowledge them and walk away.
During this transit you’re being asked to take a stand one way or another. And you’ve got the wisdom and power to do so.

High Priestess as Hermit
The Moon moves into Virgo today and will be there until Thursday.
From a Tarot perspective, you might think of this transit as the High Priestess wearing the Hermit’s clothes. She’s putting on her cowl.
The Moon in Virgo, or High Priestess in the Hermit’s clothing, is a time for practical, quiet reflection. Seeking the advice of an expert, and listening carefully to what they have to say could be worthwhile.
Or maybe someone will be asking you for your advice.
Your home is more important now than the outside world. Start thinking how to make it more practical. You might not be ready to do the work just yet, but this is a great time to plan.
Emotionally, it’s a time of calm. Perfect for listening and reflecting rather than acting out in passion. Take your time. There’s no rush.
Study, organization, contemplation, solitude, emotional self-reflection. Don’t be afraid to be alone right now. There’s lot’s to do on your own.

High Priestess as Strength
The Moon moves into Leo today and stays there until Tuesday.
Translated into Tarot cards, this transit would be like the High Priestess is wearing Strength’s clothing. She’s thrown off her heavy cape and is spending some time outside with her lion.
The Moon in Leo, or High Priestess in Strength’s clothing is potentially a time of emotional power. Something beautiful that’s usually under wraps can finally be revealed.
The silence is broken. Quiet wisdom and passion can be united. During this time, it might be difficult to keep your ideas to yourself. But why should you?
Try finding an outlet for plans you’ve been sitting on? This is an opportunity to shine if you’re not over-burdened by self-consciousness.
It might feel a little uncomfortable at first, but letting your wilder side out right now could be positive. The sun isn’t always shining. Take advantage of it when it does.

Wheel Spinning the Hierophant's Throne
Jupiter moves into Taurus today and will stay there until June 11, 2012.
Looking at this transit from a Tarot perspective, it’s like the Wheel of Fortune is spinning the Hierophant’s throne. What seemed solid yesterday feels a lot more fluid today.
The Wheel of Fortune turns everything upside down. Then back upright again before you know it. It’s a trip you can’t predict.
But you can prepare for it by letting everything go. The Wheel asks for an open mind, unattached to preconceptions and old paradigms. It takes everything you know and mixes it up to create something you could only dream of.
There’s nothing so precious it can’t be spun. It might feel good, it might not, but everything’s got to change. From the perspective of the Wheel, change is necessary for survival.
The Hierophant, on the other hand, isn’t so fond of spinning. He likes his seat solid and his ideas fixed. He’s sure of his position, and once comfortable, likes to stay where he is.
He appreciates tradition and much prefers ritual to spontaneity. Moral codes are his specialty, and he’s known for his grounded advice. He’s found a path and likes to share it.
Though he thinks big, the Hierophant likes to control the transmission of ideas as much as possible. Too many outside concepts might mess with his order.
The Wheel of Fortune takes the Hierophant for a ride that he’s not always comfortable with. But he’s a man willing to take what comes. He’ll try to find meaning in whatever it is he’s faced with.
Jupiter in Taurus, or the Wheel of Fortune spinning the Hierophant’s throne, can be a time of spiritual upheaval. What you thought you had faith in might suddenly appear to change.
And maybe it is changing. This is a time of expansion, when old traditions might not seem as useful as they once did.
Don’t be surprised if authorities prove as human as their followers, and be open to new ways of finding the divine in your life.
It might feel a little chaotic at first, but it’s good for us to shake things up sometimes. Don’t get hung up on any one idea, and enjoy the ride.

The Moon moves into Cancer today, and stays there until Sunday.
Looking at this transit through the lens of the Tarot, you might describe it as the High Priestess dressed in the clothing of the Charioteer. She’s left the safety of her pillars and veil, and has hit the road.

Knowledge gathered in silence has coalesced and it’s time to share without fear of being hurt.
Emotional loyalty, intuitive direction and strength of character can give you the resolve to go forward. Even into the unknown.

Magician as the Lovers' Angel
Mercury moves into Gemini today, and stays there until June 16th.
Looking at this transit through the eyes of the Tarot, it would be like the Magician has taken on the clothes of the Lovers’ Angel. He’s put down his tools and put on some wings.
The Magician is inspirational. He sets things in motion, is the man of all beginnings.
He has vision and clarity. He’s the type of guy who ignites the imagination and gets you to believe that absolutely anything is possible. Magic is real.
The Magician flies solo, but his communication skills are extraordinary. A brilliant interpreter, he’s able to translate and transform his will into reality.
The Lovers are also about communication, especially between two people, or more.
They represent consolidation, commitment and union. Mirroring each other, they reflect opposites joining as one.
Flexible in mind and spirit, the Lovers look at the world from as many perspectives as possible. But when they do finally make a decision, they take it as seriously as the Angel who hangs above them.
The Magician enjoys playing the part of the Lovers’ Angel. He likes the sun behind him and having a chance to bless a commitment. After all, he knows it’s the will that starts the way.
Mercury in Gemini, or the Magician in the Lovers’ Angel’s clothing, is a time of quick thinking and brilliant communication.
It’s a great opportunity to exchange ideas, share thoughts, open hearts and let yourself think things you might not have ever before.
You don’t have to commit to anything you’re not ready for. But if you do decide on something, it’s a good time to get as educated about it as you can. If ever there was a time to learn something new, this is it.
From the Magician’s ‘I will,’ to the Lovers’, ‘I do’, this is a call to take your ideas to the next step.
What is it that you’d like to do? If you’re really serious, try it now.

High Priestess dressed as Lovers' Angel
The Moon moves into Gemini today and will stay there until Friday.
From a Tarot perspective, this transit would be like the High Priestess is dressed as the Lovers’ Angel. She floats above the naked couple, blessing their sacred union.
The Moon in Gemini, or High Priestess dressed as the Lovers’ angel, can be an emotionally confusing time, one where internal conflicts arise in order to be reconciled.
But it can also be a time of clarity, honest communication and almost intuitive understanding about yourself and those around you.
Quiet faith teams up with commitment and the Angels approve of the whole thing.
Try to keep your emotions in line with your reason. Going too far either way could disturb a really nice balance.
