I know I just posted a Tarot Kickstarter project the other day, but I couldn’t help but share this one too … The Fox Tarot by Mary Hoy. It’s absolutely adorable!
Created by Alina Pete, Layn Myhre, and Robert Kendzie, Twilight Arcana is a fantasy card game inspired by Tarot, and based on the children’s game ‘Sleeping Queens’. It involves Tarot-sized cards that can be used as both part of the game, and as a stand-alone Tarot deck.
Take a look at the video below, and/or visit the Twilight Arcana Kickstarter page to see some of the cards, and to learn more about the project.
The idea for this unusual deck came about when Farra noticed Aramchek was tweeting about a set of Tarot cards meant to compliment the traditional Marseille version of the Major Arcana.
It occurred to Farra that Aramchek’s ideas needed to be illustrated, and so with the writer’s permission, Farra set out upon that task. The result was this very interesting Major’s only ‘extra deck’.
Take a look at the video below to hear Farra describe the project, and/or visit the Uel Aramchek’s Tarot Arcana project page to learn more.

In Andrea Aste’s Parallel World, Tarot comes magically alive as a deck of cards, a book, and a film.

Having come up with the images for his new deck in the midst of a fever, it’s no wonder Eric Soto’s Soto Tarot is different than most. It’s non-traditional to say the least, but the colours are gorgeous and the designs quite evocative.
Take a look for yourself by watching the video below, or by visiting the Soto Tarot project page.
I’m a big fan of collaborative Tarot decks, and the new 78 Tarot Nautical is no exception. Curated by Kayti Welsh, and created by 78 different artists from around the world, this water themed deck looks great.
I always like watching art being made, and M.M. Meleen gives us that opportunity in the Kickstarter video posted below. In it we see her finish drawing the four princesses from her new deck – the Tabula Mundi Tarot.

Fans of Dorothy and The Wizard of Oz might be interested in this Tarot Kickstarter project – The Shadow of Oz by Anna and Mark, the Illogical Associates.
As the creators of The Wizard of Oz inspired comic book Dorothy, Anna and Mark seem especially suited to making this deck a reality, and they’ve gathered together a truly impressive group of comic book artists to help them.
