Twelve days immersed in Tarot in the place of its birth, travelling with the likes of Mary K. Greer. Quite a trip.

That’s what’s happening from September 26th through October 7th, 2011. It’s the Tarot Art and History Tour of Northern Italy, organized by Arnell Ando.

It starts in Milan at the Renaissance fortress of the Castello Sforzesco, where the Visconti Tarot cards were found in an abandoned well.

Then on to Fererra, Bologna, Tuscany, Florence and Siena, meeting with Tarot artists, scholars and publishers along the way.

And if that weren’t enough, there’s a special pilgrimage to Niki De Saint Phalle’s most fabulous Tarot Garden.

The whole thing sounds incredible. Like an ideal Fool’s journey.
