It’s time to get down to the details.  A new project is in the works and you’ve got the task of making it happen – or at least starting the process off.

Keep the reason you’re doing it in mind – that’s the fire that drives the whole enterprise.

If the less than exciting details are getting you down, remember that it’s the details that build the foundation to any project.

Mercury has moved back into Virgo, and will stay there until September 26th.

Through the eyes of the Tarot, this transit is like the Magician is wearing the Hermit’s clothes. He’s left his garden and is trekking through the snow.

Mercury in Virgo, or the Magician wearing the Hermit’s clothes, is a time of intense internal clarity. You know what you know, and can see it with fresh eyes.

It’s a good time to clear out stale old perspectives. Shine light on your inner wisdom and don’t be afraid to let others know what you’ve found.

There’s a tension now between the old and the new. Use it to dig through past ideas and experiences. Not for nostalgia’s sake, but in order to figure out what’s worthy enough to revitalize, and what might as well be discarded.

There’s so much to do right now you probably feel you can’t keep up.  Don’t worry –  you can.

Just keep things in motion and try to stay focused on whatever task you’re working on at each particular moment.  You’ve got more than enough energy for everything right now, try not to give up.

Emotionally things might get a little hairy, but as with your work, you’re more than able to cope.

The changes going on in your life right now are good ones. You’ve put them into motion yourself and you’ll be just fine.

The Moon moves into Sagittarius today and will be there until Thursday.

Looking at it through the eyes of the Tarot, this transit is like the High Priestess is wearing Temperance’s clothing. She’s dressed like an angel.

The Moon in Sagittarius, or High Priestess in Temperance’s clothing, indicates a time when intellect, practicality, emotions and passion can work together in relative ease.

What’s normally only an idea might find its way to becoming real. Even-tempered inspiration and emotional playfulness can create what look like miracles.

Take this time to bring your emotions in line with your passions. And play with your most serious ideas. It’s in combining the unexpected that you’ll likely find gold.

Ace of Cups

Emotional renewal is the name of the game today.  A new way of feeling about something and/or somebody is about to emerge.  Perhaps you’re feeling it already – it’s like that first hint of spring or when a magnolia tree finally blossoms after a long cold winter.

Joy and hope are in the air and accessible to you.  Throw away any gloom you’ve been dragging around and wake up to the inspiration of positive emotions.  There’s a sense that anything can happen and it’s probably going to be good. Be receptive to the love that’s around you and give it back in kind.

The next pull from Georgie’s Magic Card Collection is Morgan’s Tarot, created by Morgan Robbins, and illustrated by Darshan Chorpash. It was first released in 1970, but my copy is from 2009, and published by US Games. It’s one of my favourite decks ever.

5 Points About This Deck

1. Artwork: Late 60’s, early 70’s style black and white line drawings. Clean, clear, and somewhat psychedelic. The cards most often include card names or phrases below the images.
2. Tarot Structure: There is no Tarot structure. Despite the name, Morgan’s Tarot is not a Tarot deck, though it is oracular. Instead of 78 cards, there are 88. There are no Major or Minor Arcana divisions, and no Court Cards. There are no numbers on the cards, or on the card descriptions in the Little White Book (LWB). In fact, the cards aren’t even alphabetized in the LWB. You’ve gotta just keep looking around for the card description you’re interested in. But it’s worth the hunt.
3. Theme: I guess the theme is what it says on the publisher’s card: Transmutation through Union of Opposites. As you may have surmised, Morgan’s Tarot was influenced by the late 60’s new age movement, and various spiritual traditions, especially Tibetan Buddhism.
4. Readability: Despite lack of clear structure, the cards in Morgan’s Tarot are quite practical and straightforward in their messaging. Some card examples: If There’s a Judge, it’s You, or; Your Mission is Not Yet Complete, or; Always Remember This; … or simply Boo!!!. The LWB describes them all (kind of).
5. Let George Do It: One card in particular sticks out to me (given my name is Georgianna, aka George) … Let George Do It … not sure I like the message, but I do like having a specifically George-card in the deck.

You may have more physical prosperity than you thought.  Look around and see the support that’s there.

It’s likely that the money or physical support or whatever it is you need is at hand and that those who said they were behind you really are.

Trust your family and loved ones, they really do have your back and were never going to let you fall.

Open yourself to abundance and you might be surprised at how much is there for you.

And when you prosper, don’t forget to be generous.  No one ever does it all on their own (even when we think we do).  We all need each other, and it’s through sharing that we discover our true wealth.

The moon moves into Scorpio today and stays there until Monday.

If you translate this transit into the Tarot, you could say that the High Priestess is dressed as Death. She’s in the midst of a great transformation.

The Moon in Scorpio, or High Priestess in Death’s clothing, suggests a time when feelings run deep. The ability to end relationships that don’t work, or release stagnant emotions is accentuated.

If there’s a situation in your life that’s nearing its completion, especially if it’s emotional or relationship-oriented, this might be a good time to let it go. At least explore it with emotional clarity.

This isn’t a time to be afraid, but rather a time to face your fears with equanimity and intelligence.

You’ve got what it takes. Don’t back down from the scary stuff.

Celebrate with enthusiasm!  Today is for fun and sharing. Friends are at the forefront, especially the ladies in your life.

Good times, good friends, good drink – it could be a pretty excellent day.  Don’t be afraid to be happy and remember to let people know how much you like them.

Take delight in music, poetry, painting – this is a time of inspiration and creativity.  Social interaction with others will be invigorating and fruitful.

Let yourself get carried away by laughter and joy.  Seek out the beautiful within yourself and those around you.  You won’t be disappointed if you do.
