Ace of Cups

Emotional renewal is the name of the game today.  A new way of feeling about something and/or somebody is about to emerge.  Perhaps you’re feeling it already – it’s like that first hint of spring or when a magnolia tree finally blossoms after a long cold winter.

Joy and hope are in the air and accessible to you.  Throw away any gloom you’ve been dragging around and wake up to the inspiration of postive emotions.  There’s a sense that anything can happen and it’s probably going to be good. Be receptive to the love that’s around you and give it back in kind.

Artisans and the Ace of Cups

July 13th, 2015 § 0 comments § permalink

After a recent holiday in New Brunswick, Ty Burr, a film critic at the Boston Globe, wrote an amusing article detailing some of the more confusing road signs he found on our Canadian highways.

One of the signs featured in his piece especially caught my eye. It was the blue and white sign pictured below meant to indicate that there are ‘Local Artisans Nearby’.

When Burr and his wife saw the sign, they speculated that it meant “Should you happen to die during your visit to Canada, we will ship your remains home in a decorative urn made by one of our many talented local artisans.” Sounds reasonable.

As a Tarot reader, however, I couldn’t help but see the image as an Ace of Cups. Take a look at the RWS version of the card, and I think you’ll see what I mean.
