High Priestess as the Devil
The Moon moves into Capricorn today and will stay there until Sunday.
If you were to describe this transit using the Tarot, you might say that the High Priestess is wearing the Devil’s clothing. The virginal goddess has gotten downright beastly.
The Moon in Capricorn, or High Priestess in the Devil’s clothing, is a period of potential internal conflict. The physical world might seem to draw you away from what you typically believe to be right.
You might feel driven or compelled by behaviours and attitudes that go against the grain of your morality. It could be liberating or disturbing, depending on your secrets.
Whatever’s going on though, don’t be too hard on yourself. Get obsessions out of your system, and learn what you can about yourself while you do so.
You should be ready to move on soon. There’s nothing wrong with a little focused physicality. Just don’t get stuck.

Empress as the Emperor
Venus moves into Aries today and will stay there until May 15th.
If we look at this transit through the eyes of the tarot, it would be like the Empress is wearing the Emperor’s clothing. She’s ditched the mumu and is dressed for action.
The Empress is compassionate, nurturing, and strives for peace. She’s most interested in love and beauty.
Always looking for ways to make the world more comfortable, she delights the senses by her very presence.
The Empress is the epitome of femininity. She’s the mother of the tarot, and considers the world’s children her own.
Protective, receptive and luxurious, she provides abundance to all.
The Emperor is protective as well, but certainly not nurturing or receptive. He’s fiery and assertive, a power to be reckoned with.
Masculine, confident and even aggressive, it’s not often that the Emperor just sits back and lets things happen.
He’s driven to rule, and sure he’s the best man for the job.
The Empress is out of her element here, but she’s woman enough to step up to the throne and govern when necessary.
Venus in Aries, or the Empress in the Emperor’s clothing can be an active time of creation. The air is almost bursting with possibilities.
Instead of sitting back and enjoying, you might feel like getting out there and making joy happen.
Nurture with passion and actively love. Defend and build the world you want to live in.
Beauty is everywhere. Don’t be afraid to revel in it.
There’s time enough to be a pretty wallflower. For now at least, be a blazing rose instead.

Sun dressed as Hierophant
The Sun moved into Taurus today and will stay there until May 21st.
Looking at it through the eyes of the tarot, this transit is like the Sun dressed as the Hierophant. The nude child is putting on some heavy robes and getting serious.
The Sun is bright, light and unfettered by clothes or dogma. He’s open, fun and willing to be vulnerable.
Spiritual freedom, creative communication and unabashed enthusiasm rule when he shines undiluted.
The Sun could burn you if you stay out too long, but he does it without malice.
He might be a child, but he’s stronger than even he knows. Playing with the Sun is like playing with the life force itself.
The Hierophant isn’t so much about play, though he’s very interested in the life force in all its human manifestations.
Spirituality is his specialty. But he likes it directed, not shining around all willy-nilly. He prefers things organized and under control, preferably his control.
The Hierophant takes ritual and tradition very seriously. He sees it as the path to freedom, not a restraint.
The Sun is a little constrained in this position, but he enjoys the confidence that the Hierophant commands. And with focus and boundaries, he only looks brighter.
The Sun in Taurus, or the Sun dressed as the Hierophant, is a time where you can confidently express what you believe.
Making decisions isn’t a heavy burden, but rather a task to be tackled with determination, and even a certain joy.
Take pleasure in the human expression of the spirit, in the things we make, feel and hold up as sacred.
Having faith is very human. Use this time to actively connect to what you believe in, and share it as if it were a song, or a really good joke. Have fun with it.

The moon moves into Scorpio today and stays there until Wednesday.
If you translate this transit into the Tarot, you could say that the High Priestess is dressed as Death. She’s in the midst of a great transformation.
The Moon in Scorpio, or High Priestess in Death’s clothing, suggests a time when feelings run deep. The ability to end relationships that don’t work, or release stagnant emotions is accentuated.
If there’s a situation in your life that’s nearing its completion, especially if it’s emotional or relationship-oriented, this might be a good time to let it go. At least explore it with emotional clarity.
This isn’t a time to be afraid, but rather a time to face your fears with equanimity and intelligence.
You’ve got what it takes. Don’t back down from the scary stuff.

High Priestess as Justice
The Moon moved into Libra today, and will stay there until Monday.
Looking at this transit through the lens of the Tarot, it would be like the High Priestess is wearing Justice’s clothing. She takes on the mantle of the Karmic Decider.
With the High Priestess as Justice, or the Moon in Libra, we might be required to face up to something and decide.
Our emotions will demand respect. If we’ve leaned too far back or forward, we’ll probably find ourselves moving just as dramatically the other way.
It can be a slightly challenging period, perhaps a little manic. But by the time it’s done, something is likely to have been decided upon.
Don’t be alarmed by conflicting emotions. They’re there because you can see both sides. It’s not good enough though to just acknowledge them and walk away.
During this transit you’re being asked to take a stand one way or another. And you’ve got the wisdom and power to do so.

High Priestess as Hermit
The Moon moves into Virgo today and will be there until Saturday.
From a Tarot perspective, you might think of this transit as the High Priestess wearing the Hermit’s clothes. She’s putting on her cowl.
The Moon in Virgo, or High Priestess in the Hermit’s clothing, is a time for practical, quiet reflection. Seeking the advice of an expert, and listening carefully to what they have to say could be worthwhile.
Or maybe someone will be asking you for your advice.
Your home is more important now than the outside world. Start thinking how to make it more practical. You might not be ready to do the work just yet, but this is a great time to plan.
Emotionally, it’s a time of calm. Perfect for listening and reflecting rather than acting out in passion. Take your time. There’s no rush.
Study, organization, contemplation, solitude, emotional self-reflection. Don’t be afraid to be alone right now. There’s lot’s to do on your own.

High Priestess as Strength
The Moon moves into Leo today and stays there until Thursday.
Translated into Tarot cards, this transit would be like the High Priestess is wearing Strength’s clothing. She’s thrown off her heavy cape and is spending some time outside with her lion.
The Moon in Leo, or High Priestess in Strength’s clothing is potentially a time of emotional power. Something beautiful that’s usually under wraps can finally be revealed.
The silence is broken. Quiet wisdom and passion can be united. During this time, it might be difficult to keep your ideas to yourself. But why should you?
Try finding an outlet for plans you’ve been sitting on? This is an opportunity to shine if you’re not over-burdened by self-consciousness.
It might feel a little uncomfortable at first, but letting your wilder side out right now could be positive. The sun isn’t always shining. Take advantage of it when it does.

High Priestess in Chariot's Clothing
The Moon moves into Cancer today, and stays there until Monday.
Looking at this transit through the lens of the Tarot, you might describe it as the High Priestess dressed in the clothing of the Charioteer. She’s left the safety of her pillars and veil, and has hit the road.
The High Priestess is emotionally fluid, yet steady. She’s grounded, sitting on a block of stone. But like her watery gown, open to the tides of change.
She’s the bridge between two opposites, with no desire to choose. It’s more important to understand why each side is what it is, than to determine which one might be better.
The High Priestess receives and perceives, but doesn’t often act. Less interested in taking a stand, her strength lies in listening, watching and reflecting the world around her.
The Chariot is action, movement, and change. It’s firm decisions and determined perseverance.
Armored and protected from the sun, the Charioteer is confident in his choices and ready to move ahead.
The time for deliberation is over. Courage, drive and the will to continue are all that’s required now.
Though forced to be on the go, the High Priestess is comfortable as the Charioteer. The Chariot itself raises her up, protects her and carries her forward without effort.
The Moon in Cancer, or the High Priestess dressed as the Charioteer, can be a powerful time of comfortable change and emotional resilience.
Knowledge gathered in silence has coalesced and it’s time to share without fear of being hurt.
Emotional loyalty, intuitive direction and strength of character can give you the resolve to go forward. Even into the unknown.
Try not to coddle yourself. You can only win if you have the courage to play to the end.

High Priestess dressed as Lovers' Angel
The Moon moved into Gemini today and will stay there until Saturday.
From a Tarot perspective, this transit would be like the High Priestess is dressed like the Lovers’ Angel. She floats above the naked couple, blessing their sacred union.
The High Priestess is the still point between opposites. She sits in perfect balance between the pillar of light and the pillar of darkness.
Her love is deep, intelligent and profoundly receptive. It’s like an ocean, slow to change, but in constant motion.
The High Priestess communicates with integrity, conviction and spiritual humility. Her perspective is wide, supportive and arises from a place of peace.
The Lovers are about union, communication, relationships and commitment. Each individual in the couple struggles when apart, needing both sides to form the whole.
They are the opposites within all of us that need to be united. They are our unconscious and consciousness joined together under the spirit of the universal.
The Lovers are the contradictions within and without that make up our world.
The High Priestess doesn’t mind the role of wedding officiant, though the nudity and sunlight isn’t usually her style. At least she’s not personally exposed.
The Moon in Gemini, or High Priestess dressing as the Lovers’ angel, can be an emotionally confusing time, one where internal conflicts arise in order to be reconciled.
But it can also be a time of clarity, honest communication and almost intuitive understanding about yourself and those around you.
Quiet faith teams up with commitment and the Angels approve of the whole thing.
Try to keep your emotions in line with your reason. Going too far either way could disturb a really nice balance.
