Saturn moves into Sagittarius today and will stay there until December 20th, 2017.
From a Tarot perspective it’s like the World card’s Dancer is dressed in the Temperance Angel’s clothing. She’s put on a robe, dropped her batons, and picked up a couple of chalices.
Saturn in Sagittarius, or the World card’s dancer dressed in the Temperance angel’s clothing, is a time of active equilibrium.
Use this period to focus on balancing out any areas of disharmony you might be experiencing.
Meditate, practice yoga, make art, or do anything that involves healing and/or recalibration. It probably won’t be hard to get enthused, and pacing yourself will likely be easier than usual.
Find your center, and dance a little while you do it.

Saturn moves into Scorpio today and will have a long stay there through September 17th.
From a Tarot perspective, this transit would be like the dancer in the World card is riding Death’s horse. She’s put down her batons and is taking survey of what needs change.
Saturn in Scorpio, or the World riding Death’s horse, is a time of extraordinary change.
Personal and global cycles are coming to a close, and though some of the endings might be unwelcome, there’s a sense of optimism in the air as well.
There’s a chance now to really clear out that which no longer serves you. Take this time to purge and release whatever’s blocking you from moving forward.
Though some of the shifts might be uncomfortable at first, they’re necessary and likely inevitable. A new perspective on the world is emerging. Embrace it and dance.

The World card represents the euphoric conclusion to something that’s taken a long time to achieve. It’s the moment we can finally say, ‘we did it!’ as we begin to plan for the next stage.
There’s a celebratory element to this card, as well as a willingness to open up and show the world both our vulnerabilities and our successes.
Though structures and boundaries remain, they now begin to morph into what will become the newest cycle on our journey.
Temperance, on the other hand, is more concerned with balance than with dancing.
Instead of euphoria, the Temperance angel likes to keep the flow of life even, not too high, or too low.
But that doesn’t mean this angel is dull, after all, it’s no easy feat to mix fire and water, and earth and air in perfect harmony.
And harmony is something the World card’s dancer can certainly appreciate. She’s happy to step outside of her usual limits and focus her enthusiasm on bringing life’s elements together.

The World represents the culmination of a long and triumphant passage through a cycle. It is completion in its most euphoric sense.
Everything is coming full circle. A unity has been established out of the chaos, and all that’s left to do is dance.
The World reminds us to celebrate as we prepare to begin again on a new plateau. What’s ending can be looked upon with joy, and what’s beginning can be looked forward to with enthusiasm.
The Death card is also about completion, though it has a much more somber take on the subject than the World does.
It’s transformation through putrefaction and decay. It holds nothing sacred and takes on all who cross its path, saints and sinners alike.
Death is the end of what no longer works, but also the trigger for transformation into something that does.
Though the World would rather dance than play the heavy, she’s up for the challenge of riding Death’s mare. If anyone knows how to end things with grace, she does.
