Waiting and watching will probably be a bit of a preoccupation today.   You’ve begun the process and have done all you can for the moment.

Virtue is likely to be a key concept.  Virtue here means being true to yourself within and between all your layers – mind, body and spirit.

Translated into Tarot cards, this transit would be like the High Priestess is wearing Strength’s clothing. She’s thrown off her heavy cape and is spending some time outside with her lion.

The Moon in Leo, or High Priestess in Strength’s clothing is potentially a time of emotional power. Something beautiful that’s usually under wraps can finally be revealed.

The silence is broken. Quiet wisdom and passion can be united. During this time, it might be difficult to keep your ideas to yourself. But why should you?

#11 – Strength

From a Tarot perspective, this transit would be like the Empress is wearing the clothes of Justice. She’s gotten tough and taken up the sword.

Venus in Libra, or the Empress in the clothes of Justice, is a time of creative realignment, a chance to lovingly balance what’s most important in our lives.

Use this period to focus on what’s working for you, especially in terms of your relationships. Not only between yourself and others, but also between yourself and the activities you engage in.

Are they leading to the results you set out for, or might this be a good time to prune back, and/or fertilize particular areas of your life’s garden.

#20 – Judgement

Most likely, this is an important time.  You’re probably coming to the end of a long phase and are in the process of review.

Judgment might be a heavy word to use, but that’s likely the situation – you’re judging yourself and your progress to date.  How do you rate yourself?  How are you rating others?   Where do you want to go next?

There’s a strong element of resurrection in this energy.  As the phase you’re in comes to a close, you ready yourself for rebirth.  Listen carefully to what your soul is trying to tell you. What have you learned through these last years? What might you want to try again? What might you want to let go of? The big question is how might you be even more alive going forward?

Enjoy this time for what it is, though it might feel confusing and even a little anxiety-ridden. Soon there will be movement. Take a good look at your past, a good look at your present and envision what you want to do next. What do you want your life to be like tomorrow? It’s up to you to make it happen.

Queen of Disks

It looks like you may have set yourself up just right. You’ve created the space you’re in through determined effort and hard work.

Step by step you’ve manifested your own prosperity and this is a wonderful time to enjoy it. It hasn’t always be easy but the rewards are well worth it.

Be generous with your prosperity, and kind to those that haven’t quite done it yet. People might come to you for practical advice or help. Or maybe it will be you taking that step to approach a kindly soul who could help you.

Don’t hesitate either to help or to ask for help. We’re here for each other and create the most beautiful of worlds when we work together.

Apparently, it’s illegal to be paid to read Tarot cards in Pennsylvania.

Beck Lawrence, professional Tarot reader and owner of the Serpent’s Key, in Hanover, Pennsylvania, discovered this fact when the police visited the shop last October and warned Lawrence that they were breaking the law and could be charged in the future.

The law in question is from back in 1861, and states, in part … “A person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree if he pretends for gain or lucre, to tell fortunes or predict future events, by cards, tokens, the inspection of the head or hands of any person, or by the age of anyone, or by consulting the movements of the heavenly bodies, or in any other manner ….” It goes on. You can read the full statute here.

The penalty for such an offence is up to a year in prison, or a fine of up to $2,500.

So … last week, after consulting with their attorney (and maybe the cards?), and under the full blue moon, Lawrence filed suit against the Chief of Police of Hanover in his official capacity, and against Hanover Borough.

The lawsuit claims that the statute violates the First and Fourteenth Amendments to the US Constitution, and the Civil Rights Act of 1871. You can read the lawsuit here.
