The first card is from The Sherlock Holmes Tarot by John Matthews and W.H. Kinghan. The second is from Buddha Tarot by Robert M. Place. And the third card is from the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot by Arthur Waite and Pamela Colman Smith.

How are themes of community, sharing, homestead, and emotional completion expressed in each image? How are the cards similar? What makes each unique?

It’s interesting that all three, though very different from one another, each have an arc of sorts, ‘overarching’ the central image.

This is a great day to take the leap and do something different.  It might seem crazy and you have no idea how it’s going to turn out, or maybe even how you got on this path in the first place, but here you are.  It’s time to make your move and do so without fear.

The Fool card isn’t telling you to be an idiot, but rather to stop double thinking yourself all the time and worrying that every single thing is in order before you can make a move.

Life isn’t really that logical.  There’s no way to prepare for all eventualities, no matter how smart you are.  Do what you can and let the universe take care of the bigger story.

Trust your family and loved ones, they really do have your back and were never going to let you fall.

Open yourself to abundance and you might be surprised at how much is there for you.

And when you prosper, don’t forget to be generous.  No one ever does it all on their own (even when we think we do).  We all need each other, and it’s through sharing that we discover our true wealth.

Venus is about to move into Cancer and will be staying there until August 25th.

From a Tarot perspective, it’s like the Empress is dressed as the Charioteer. She’s thrown on some armour and taken to the road.

Venus in Cancer, or the Empress in the clothes of the Charioteer, can be a time of active beauty and love.

It takes courage to create and move past just ideas to what’s actually real. This is a chance to do that, and to do it with joy.

Perseverance and the fortitude to keep going when the road gets rocky are gifts of this cycle. As is the ability to see beauty in even the ugliest of ditches.
