7 of Wands
You don’t know what’s coming next or from which direction it’s coming. Valour is important today. Stay true to yourself, firm in your stance and be prepared for anything and everything.
There will be a lot on the go and you’ll probably be tested. But if you keep your chin up, your back strong and take things one step at a time, the results will be well worthwhile. Stay strong – you’ve got it in you. And whether or not you know it, you’re in a position of strength.

In notes from the Fool ….
Some pranksters in the UK thought they were pretty funny this week when they added a note to a sign outside a Psychic Fair.
The official sign said ‘Psychic Fayre Here’. The jokesters added, “Due to unforeseen circumstances this event has been postponed”. Ha ha.
Apparently the organizers of the event were unaware of the addition to their sign and couldn’t figure out why people kept asking them if the fair was cancelled.

#15 – The Devil
Don’t be frightened by the Devil but certainly take him seriously. He’s no lightweight. He is earth – the deepest and darkest part of it and he plays hard. He is physicality, materiality, reality. He’s in the world of the senses unhindered by the spirit or the mind. He is what we can see, hear, smell, touch and taste and when he’s around it’s hard to get enough.
Obsessive behaviour is highlighted today – what’s yours? You’re probably fixated on something – good or bad? Sex, drugs and wild living might be obvious places to look, but could your obsession be something you don’t even notice because it’s an ‘acceptable’ addiction. Maybe too much study, work, an unrelenting compulsion to make money, an obsession with being ‘right’?
Once you’ve found your mania, take a look to see if it’s a problem or not. It’s up to you to decide when you’ve had or done enough. Sometimes you need to obsess for things to really happen. Or are you just making excuses? Watch for a feeling of disjointedness within yourself. Does it feel like your spirit is in sync with your conscious behaviour or are you wrestling your ideals to fit with what you’re actually doing?
Love, live and laugh hard today but pay attention to whether or not you’re actually doing what you need to be doing. You’re the only one who can chain or unchain yourself to anything.

In Entangled Minds: Extrasensory Experiences in a Quantum Reality, Dean Radin looks at psychic phenomena like telepathy, clairvoyance, and psychokinesis and the astounding amount of scientific research that’s been done on it. Thousands of controlled lab tests have been done and Radin surveys the lot.

Entangled Minds
The book is fascinating and I recommend it to psychic practitioners and skeptics alike. Not to mention, all those in between. But that’s not really what I wanted to write about here.
The reason I mention the book is that in it, Radin describes a website called Got Psi? It’s run by the Boundary Institute, a nonprofit scientific research organization mostly interested in mathematics, computer science and physics.
But they’re also interested in questions like “Can Causal Influence Propagate Backwards in Time?” and how we might use quantum randomness to send messages into the past.
On their Got Psi? website, they’ve developed a series of informal tests for ‘Psi’ functioning based on the same techniques used in more formal laboratory experiments. And you can do them from your own computer.
They’re great fun. Three different card tests, two remote viewing tests, and a lottery and location test. You get immediate feedback about your performance and can see your scores relative to other testers.
The website reminds us that getting a high score on any of the tests might be due to chance and not your brilliant psychic abilities. Just as getting low or medium scores doesn’t mean you have no ability.
You’ve got to do many runs to get any sort of useful average. As they put it, “Only repeated testing can distinguish between luck and genuine skills.”
So when you’ve got a little time on your hands and feel like some psychic experimentation – go see for yourself? Got Psi?

#11 – Strength
Learn to direct your inner wildness during this period of fiery intensity and your personal power is likely to grow. Innocence and purity work together balancing your passion with wisdom. Explore ways to act assertively but without aggression. The gentle touch might go a lot further than a loud voice or an impetuous rage.
It’s a very creative time and you’re encouraged to allow yourself room to flourish. Don’t be shy. This is the moment to take action and move forward with plans you may have held off on until now.

Another psychic animal/celebrity story for you …
Animal intuitive, Joanne Hull, was on the British television show, This Morning back in April. She did a reading for host Holly Willoughby and her cat Roxy. Apparently, the cat told the intuitive that Willoughby (a new mother) would be pregnant again within the next few months.
Well the news is out and guess what? Willoughby’s just announced that she’s expecting. Did the cat see into the future or did it simply know the couple weren’t using birth control?
Either way it’s kind of interesting. Not so much the animal/human communication part, or even that the cat might be psychic. It’s that it’s such a gossip.

Swift communication is at the forefront today. Have you applied for something and been waiting to hear back? Expecting some news to finally come down the wire? Or maybe it will be a surprise. One way or another, the message is on its way and your wait is almost over. You’ll know soon enough.
Now that your plans are in action, things will start moving quickly. Communicate what you want and don’t be shy about it. How else will people know what you’re thinking? This is the time to get your ideas out there and your message heard.

I just read about a group of Tarot lovers in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They call themselves the Winnipeg Tarot Company and were founded by Lorri Millan and Shawna Dempsey. They and their pack of prairie prognosticators sound so fun I wish they were here! But they probably wouldn’t want to be. Winnipeg is their love and they’re spreading Tarot all over it.

Winnipeg Tarot Co. Deck
First off, they’ve made a deck dedicated to their beloved city. It was created by Millan and Dempsey and illustrated by Bonnie Marin. As they describe it, “Each card depicts one of the mysterious and mystical energies that inform ‘One Great City’.”
The Major Arcana features local Winnipeg icons while the four suits are Blizzards, Floods, Drought and Lightning. Everything from mosquitoes to the Blue Bombers, Slurpees to K-tel have been transformed into the magical. It sounds like a Canadian Tarotist’s dream. Try it out with a free reading here.
But it wasn’t enough to just design and publish a deck, these oracles literally took it to the streets. Last month, every day, they set out around town doing free Tarot readings with their Winnipeg Tarot Co. Deck. Watch the video on their home page. They’re fabulous!!
The Winnipeg Tarot Company doesn’t accept cash for readings, but they do expect payment. After each session, the readers asked for a story about Winnipeg. And they got lots. They gathered them all up and you can hear some of them here.
What a great way to spread the fun of the Tarot while celebrating your city. I love it! Let’s do it in Toronto!

Queen of Swords
The truth is an important commodity to you right now. Getting through the fog and cutting out that which no longer works for you is priority. You might be feeling a little hardcore, a little less sympathetic to sob stories and other tales of woe than usual. That’s alright. Sometimes it’s more important to be clear than to be sweet.
Get the job done and do it with the determination, diligence and discernment that you expect from others. Keep in mind though that the bigger picture includes compassion. You need not be cruel or mean to be truthful and serious. Not everyone is as tough-skinned as you are right now, so be aware of the potential effect your words might have.
