It’s been a while since I last posted a card from the deck Ivan Minsloff and I have been working on, so for your viewing pleasure today, I thought I’d post The Lovers.
It’s simple and to the point – the opposites are joined together as one.

I’m leaving today for a visit to San Francisco where I’ll be working on a top-secret Tarot project.
It should be great fun, and I look forward to sharing it with you all when it’s ready, but unfortunately for now, my time away means that over the next week and a bit, I’ll only be posting Tarot-Astro Transits and the Card of the Day.
In honour of my flight though, I thought I’d post The Chariot card from the deck Ivan Minsloff and I have been working on.
Here it is …
Have a great week everyone!!!

Slowly over the last few months, I’ve been revealing cards from the still-unnamed Tarot deck illustrator Ivan Minsloff and I have been working on.
Today we debut our Wheel of Fortune card!
Take a spin …

This coming Thursday, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will be announcing nominations for the 85th Academy Awards.
In honour of the event, it seems appropriate to unveil another card from the Tarot deck Ivan Minsloff and I have been working on.
It’s #15, The Devil, who in our deck is a film director.
Not only does he control the show, it’s easy to become addicted to the fantasy worlds he creates.

Yesterday I posted about Aleister Crowley’s Thoth Tarot card #11, Lust.
It made me want to share with you all the Lust/Strength card that Ivan Minsloff and I have created for our new Tarot deck.
Here it is …

Here’s another card from the deck that Ivan Minsloff and I have been working on.
It’s the Hierophant – a sunglass-wearing evangelist with a message on his lap and a microphone in his hand.
I’m not sure if we can trust him completely, but I’m impressed with how he seems to glow.
Is it from a divine light within, or just some well-lit stagecraft?

And speaking of Moon Goddesses (which I was doing in yesterday’s post), I thought I’d share a Moon image close to my own heart.
It’s the Moon card illustrated by Ivan Minsloff for our upcoming, but yet-to-be-named Tarot deck.
As you can imagine, I’m rather fond of this image.
Not only is the Moon represented by a Tarot reader and two wonderful dogs, the dog on the reader’s right is my very own angel canine, Stoney Machete.

Take a look the beautiful Tarot card I just got framed!
It’s Ivan Minsloff’s original version of the Empress from the deck he and I have been working on.
The style of our deck has changed considerably since she was first drawn, but her spirit is always at its core.
Now she’s gracing my entranceway and welcoming all who come visit.
I don’t know why it took me so long to get her out of her poster roll and out on display, but I’m so glad I did. I just love her!

As I’ve mentioned many times before, my illustrating friend Ivan Minsloff and I have been working on a Tarot deck.
Just last month we debuted our Hermit card at Art in the Hermetic Tradition at The Hermit’s Lamp.
Today, we’re letting you all have the first glimpse of #21, the World.
I was inspired to reveal it after watching the video below put together by Knate Myers.
It’s a beautiful series of space images from NASA and perfectly expresses why we chose an astronaut as our final card in the Major Arcana.
Seeing our world from space reminds us that everything we know is really part of the grander whole, and whether we like it or not, we’re all in it together.
